The International Company which made tractors and trucks, probably made this one around the years 1946-1948. Each one of my works is rendered as a frontal or side pose, as a portrait artist would try to capture a likeness of the subject. Since this truck had been vandalized over the years as were many of my subjects, their broken windows and headlights gave them a pathetic appearance adding to their character. It also reminded me, how so often we neglect a lot of things in our society. So I thought the title International Neglect would be appropriate. Oil on Canvas. 36″ x 48″.
