My Battle
This painting of the “Rat Fink” as Perseus slaying the serpent is a tribute to “Big Daddy” Roth’s creation and the influence he has had in my life as an artist. As a dyslexic person, I adopted his cartoon character when I was a teenager – drawing it in my own cartoons. My ability to do so gave me confidence and encouragement during my difficult high school years. Now I have finally achieved my goal of higher education, earning a Master of Fine Art degree, slaying an obstacle in my life. 16″ x 20″.
