From the Dark

I painted this vehicle a few times. It has got to be one of my most favorite of all the trucks. The large flared fenders, the big bug-eyed headlamps and the massive chrome grill are always a challenge to paint. When I noticed cars in the shadows of parking lots it inspired me to have some of this truck bathed in light while the rest remained in the shadows. It is rendered in chiaroscuro. Oil on Canvas. 30″ x 40″.
