Rolling Snow

This work is an image of the way they used to handle snow in the 1800’s when horse and sleigh were the means of winter transportation. The snow would be packed down by large rollers with teams of horses pulling them, so that sleighs could easily glide over the packed snow. I hope this image gives you an idea as to what it must have looked like back then. Oil on Canvas. 24″ x 36″.
